First Call Contract Services charity partnership for 2013

First Call Contract Services are proud to announce their 2013 charity partnership with the TEENAGE CANCER TRUST.

At First Call Contract Services we have rounded off this year by selecting our chosen charity for 2013. Inspired by our recent involvement in de Poel’s charity ball & auction in aid of Mencap, which raised in excess of £30,000 we have decided to pick up where we left off and continue our charity work into next year. Managing Director, David Mankelow, decided to choose Teenage Cancer Trust as First Call Contract Services charity for 2013.

The Teenage Cancer Trust are a charity devoted to improving the lives of teenagers and young adults with cancer. The charity and all their volunteers provide a lifeline to thousands around the UK; the work they do and services they provide are second to none and we are honoured to be involved with such a dedicated and deserving organisation.

Raising money is the name of the game and by working together everyone at First Call Contract Services will do their bit, kicking things off with the highly anticipated RAFFLE at our Christmas Ball at Pendley Manor, tomorrow. We hope to raise over £3000 on the night so are hoping everyone will dig deep for a good cause.

We aim to raise a substantial amount of money over the next year so we will be on the lookout for exciting ways to raise the dough! A few ideas have been bounded around our offices, we’ve had everything from the more traditional ‘dress down Fridays’ to the unnerving challenge of climbing Ben Nevis!

In fact Daniel Mankelow, Operations Director is heading up the challenge of climbing Ben Nevis in the summer of 2013. We are hoping to raise a minimum of 10k – look out for update on how you can donate!

If you’ve got any good fundraising ideas, or fancy setting us a challenge, why not get in touch? We’ll be sure to keep you all up to date with our progress and most importantly, how to donate!
