David Mankelow – First Call Contract Services CEO was elected onto the Association Labour Providers Member’s Council on Tuesday 09th May 2017.
The ALP was established in February 2004 as the specialist trade association for organisations that provide temporary, contract and seasonal workers within the food, agricultural and other GLA regulated sectors. Much of its work is also relevant to labour users and to labour providers in other sectors. It has had, and continues to have, a significant effect on government and regulatory policy and provides a range of very useful information and services to its members.
Its core objective is for “The provision of temporary labour to the UK food and agricultural sectors to be recognised as a model of good practice.”
David Mankelow CEO commented ‘to be elected on to the members council, which represents and supports this complex, challenging industry sector, is truly fantastic news and I am looking forward to making a positive influence on the key initiatives. Whilst running my own company standards and sustainability have been fundamental in our success, an agenda I am keen to raise further awareness about.’
