    • Forklift Maintenance & Safety: Perform daily checks on your forklift, report any damages or repairs needed, and ensure safety protocols are always followed.
    • Cleanliness & Upkeep: Ensure forklifts are clean, charged, and well-maintained, conducting weekly wipe-downs and cleaning tasks.
    • Waste Management: Regularly empty packhouse waste skips into the larger skip, ensuring it is securely covered.
    • Special Tasks: Assist with special assignments as directed by the Production or Technical Manager.
    • Safety & Compliance: Adhere to all safety precautions and wear appropriate PPE at all times on site. Promote safety in all aspects of forklift operation.

    • A responsible and experienced forklift driver with a strong sense of safety and efficiency.
    • A team player who can work independently and contribute positively to the team.
    • Someone with good timekeeping and a proactive approach to their work.

The role is 6 days per week and there is a 2 week rotation on shifts between an early (6.45am – 4pm) and late (9.30/10am-finish). Finish times are dependent on when last lorries are expected, usually this is no later than 6.30pm.

They are offering a starting daily rate of £105 per day, reviewed after 12 weeks successful probation.

If you’re a reliable forklift operator looking to make a difference in a vibrant and supportive environment, we’d love to hear from you!
