Shifts for Gluing Operator:
- 08:00 – 17:00
- Monday- Friday
- Overtime available
Pay :
- Days from £11.44 per hour
- Paid weekly
Main Duties of Gluing Operator:
- Prepare the gluing machine for the day’s tasks, ensuring all components are clean and functional.
- Load and set up the materials for gluing, ensuring alignment with production requirements. (where needed) Supervisors may arrange for you.
- Start and monitor the gluing machine throughout the production process.
- Adjust settings for speed, glue quantity, and application as necessary.
- Conduct routine checks to verify glue application is consistent with quality standards.
- Remove finished products from the machine and stick them to be passed over to the next stage in production
- Ensure the gluing area is clean and organised to prevent accidents or hazards.
- Work closely with printing operators, supervisors, and other production staff to ensure smooth workflow and adherence to production schedules.
This job requires attention to detail, the ability to work efficiently, and an understanding of how glue application affects the final product quality. The role can involve standing for extended periods and occasional lifting.
