    Job Title: Customer Services Representative
    Salary: £24,000 – £26,000 per annum (depending on experience) 37.5 hour week
    Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, 09:00 – 17:00
    Reporting To: Customer Services Supervisor

    Job Description

    Our client is seeking a motivated and proactive Customer Services Representative to join their dynamic Customer Services team. This role is multi-functional and offers a variety of tasks, including handling customer inquiries, resolving complaints, reporting service performance, and booking inbound and outbound collections.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Communicate effectively with customers, internal departments, and overseas offices via email and telephone.
    • Resolve customer queries and complaints through phone and email within a set time frame.
    • Generate and provide quotations to customers.
    • Liaise directly with our clients offices and agents to ensure KPIs are met and adhered to.
    • Monitor shipment contents to ensure compliance, working with customers on restrictions and prohibitions.
    • Ensure status updates and Proofs of Delivery (PODs) are updated within the transit time and provided to customers.
    • Complete collection notes prior to handover to the operations department.
    • Perform all ad-hoc tasks as required by the department.

    Experience and Skills Required:

    • Previous customer service experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
    • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
    • Ability to learn quickly, adapt to new tasks, and prioritise workloads in line with deadlines.
    • High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
    • A positive, can-do attitude with a genuine desire to grow and expand skill sets.
