Location: Stanford-le-Hope
Salary: £29,000 with the opportunity of progression for the right candidate
Working hours: Monday to Friday 9am-6pm (30min unpaid break) with a level of flexibility due to the nature of the business (42.5 working week minus breaks)
We are looking for a Warehouse Operative to join our clients dynamic team. This role is essential in ensuring smooth warehouse operations by handling stock, picking and packing orders, and maintaining high standards of efficiency and safety.
Key responsibilities:
- Picking and packing goods onto pallets
- Unloading and stowing goods in the correct locations
- Logging stock and ensuring proper stock rotation
- Operating warehouse machinery (PPT, Forklift, Reach Truck)
- Preparing customer orders for next-day delivery
- Checking stock for damage/loss and reporting as required
- Manual handling and working across different warehouse areas when needed

Requirements:
- Previous experience in warehouse roles
- Ideally, experience operating PPT, Forklift, and Reach Truck
- Basic computer skills and experience using RF scanners
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Must have good housekeeping standards
- Ability to work in multiple warehouse departments (Ambient, Chiller, Freezer)
- Physical fitness – able to lift/move products up to 30kg
- Eligibility to work in the UK
