Job description
First Call Aviation have some exciting opportunities to join a leading ground handler at Gatwick Airport.
START DATE : MARCH 2025
We are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented people to join our team, we have several different shift patterns available, from fixed days to 4 on, 4 off, full time & part time so something for everyone. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that the aircraft interior is cleaned to the highest standards, providing a pleasant and safe environment for passengers and crew. Your attention to detail and commitment to customer service will play a crucial role in maintaining our reputation for excellence.
Responsibilities
- To contribute to a culture of engagement, involvement and continuous improvement within the cleaning team
- Removing rubbish from the aircraft and making sure that it is properly disposed
- Restocking of cleaning vehicles and equipment
- Clean interior areas of aircraft cabin including removal of blankets, vacuuming carpets, wipe down equipment and surfaces
- Replenish seat pockets with airline material as per customer specification
- Clean lavatories, wash basins, surfaces, mirrors and replenish lavatory supplies
- Clean and sanitise galleys, mopping floors
- Arrange seat belts, placement of headrests, pillows and blankets
- Maintain a safe working environment at all times, especially when using equipment and PPE
Requirements
- A valid Full UK Manual driving licence
- Previous experience in a cleaning or customer service role is preferred but not essential.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly disposition towards customers.
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that may involve lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.

Pay Rate: £15.90/h
Shift: 22:00pm – 06:00am – weekends included (off days during the week )
