We have an exciting opportunity for LGV Drivers (C+E) along with Cat D to join our client’s busy operations at their Hoo depot in Kent, ME3. This role is a temporary to permanent for the right candidate and is therefore a long-term opportunity.
Immediate starts are available. PSV/ Coach Class D licence mandatory.
Shift Pattern:
Rolling rota (5 on, 1 off, 5 on, 2 off)
Your day will start between 05:00/08:00 and you will be placed into a rolling rota so flexibility is a key requirement for this opportunity. The rota works out at 5 days on 1 day off, 5 days on 2 days off, this will involve early starts and open to work across all days of the week.
Pay rate:
£15.30 per hour basic (first 40 hours), £19.12 overtime (after 40 hours)
Duties:
- Various trailer work including fridge, curtain and container work.
- Loading/unloading at times using either a forklift truck or an electric pump truck.
- Ensuring that you adhere to Company Hygiene and Health & Safety Policies and Procedures.
- Full training provided to operate machine/tools required.
Applicants must have:
- Full clean driving licence
- Hold either a Full GB Licence to drive a LGV Class 1 (C+E) vehicle or PCV (Cat D). Both would be an advantage.
- Valid Driver Qualification Card (DCPC).
- Digi Tachograph Card.
- Forklift licence would be an advantage but not mandatory.
- Suitable applicants would need to be flexible, hardworking, and have good communication skills.
