Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Carry out servicing, fault diagnosis, and repairs of domestic and local authority boilers
- Conduct inspections in domestic premises
- Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with Gas Safety, Installation Regulations, and Industry Codes of Practice
- Complete relevant gas certification accurately and in a timely manner
Candidate Requirements:
- Time-served Domestic Gas Engineer with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in the gas industry
- Qualifications required: CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, and HTR1
- Good understanding of gas boilers and heating systems
- Clean DBS check and references from previous employers
Work Hours:
- Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:30pm (subject to job list and locations)
- Currently operating on a 1 in 4 Saturday rota
Salary and Benefits:
- Starting salary: £41,000 per annum (depending on experience)
- Overtime paid at time and a half Monday to Saturday, and double time on Sundays
- Company vehicle, tools, iPhone, and fuel card provided
- Electronic reporting system via company mobile phone
- Full PPE, testing equipment, and all necessary safety/access equipment
- High-end client work including manufacturers and insurance-based clients
