Are you looking to join a global, well established air freight logistics companies? First Call Talent Solutions are recruiting a permanent Freight Forwarder to join there team in Slough near Heathrow Airport.
Permanent Contract
Monday to Friday 9am-5:30pm
£30’000 – £35’000 dependent on experience

Job Duties of a Freight Forwarder:
- Handling enquires.
- Working on Air, Road & Sea freight quotes.
- Liaising with Air, Sea and Road carriers regarding routes, schedules, and rates.
- Booking cargo space with air, sea, and road carriers/couriers.
- Preparing all shipping documentations.
- Processing customs declarations.
- Screening of Freight material. (training provided)
- Daily communication with customers and suppliers.
- Keeping file administration up to date including processing of sales & suppliers invoicing, credit notes.
- Processing Dangerous Goods shipments following IATA DG rules and regulations. (training can be provided)
Requirements of a Freight Forwarder:
- Cargo Experience.
- Experience with CDS/ CHIEF, CCS UK, airline sheds.
- Experience with ETSF warehouse and ETSF import clearances desired, however training can be provided.
- Strong communication, presentation and numerical skills.
- Highly motivated.
