Job Opportunity: Production Team Leader
Location: Newmarket, Suffolk
Pay Rate: £15.03 per hour
Rotating shifts: 6 AM – 2 PM & 2 PM – 10 PM – 12-week rota
Are you an experienced leader with a background in food production? Our client is looking for Team Leaders to join their production team and oversee a group of operatives to ensure efficiency, safety, and quality standards are met.
What they Offer:
Pay & Overtime:
- 40 hours a week, all hours worked over 40 hours are paid overtime
- Overtime rate: 1.25x
- Double pay on Sundays

Role Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of operatives to ensure smooth production processes
- Monitor product quality and compliance with food safety standards
- Drive performance, ensuring targets and KPIs are met
- Order and manage materials effectively
- Train and develop team members
- Maintain compliance with Health & Safety regulations
What They’re Looking For:
Experience in food production or a similar role (leadership, managing others preferred)
Knowledge of food safety & quality standards (HACCP, GMP, Allergen Awareness)
Strong communication and leadership skills
Basic IT skills
