We have an exciting opportunity to work for Braintree District Council as a refuse loader. Pay rates from £11.52 per hour to £12.49 per hour. The role of Refuse Loader is based in Braintree.

Shifts for Picking and Packing Operative:
- Monday – Friday, 07.00 – 14.00
- Occasional Saturdays
Pay:
- £11.52ph for the first 12 weeks (£17.28ph on Saturdays)
- £12.49ph after 12 weeks worked (£18.74 on Saturdays), with guaranteed hours regardless of finish time
- Paid Weekly
Main Duties of Refuse Loader:
- Working with the local council’s waste team to collect domestic and commercial waste
- Working with a crew on a refuse truck (no driving involved)
- Learning how to use a rear end loader for wheelie bins
- Observing all council health and safety rules
- Finish when the work is done, usually early
