Are you looking for a new permanent career with a well established air freight business? Our client in Slough is looking for a warehouse operative with driving to join there team.
Salary: £28’000 per year
Shifts: Monday to Friday day shift
Must be 25 or over due to insurance purposes using the company vehicles.
Job Duties of a Warehouse Operative with Driving:
- Working across various warehouse units, duties including (but not limited to) picking and packing, shipment processing, bagging and labelling and administrative/computer-based tasks
- Using company vehicle to collect both courier and cargo shipments for airport sheds
- General warehouse administration
- High levels of attention to detail
- Maintain a high level of Health and Safety.
- Ability to prioritise workload based on time sensitive deadlines
- Team player
- Report all Health and safety accidents/incidents/near miss
- Forklift duties.
- General maintenance of vehicles and equipment – e.g. clean and tidy vans/monthly inspections/forklift checks.
Requirements of a Warehouse Operative with Driving:
- Experience within an import & export warehouse role
- Full and Clean UK Driving Licence (Over 25 for Insurance Purposes Only)
Desirable:
- PC literate
- X-ray Screening experience
- Experience with Customs entries (training to be provided if needed)
You will be subject to DBS and 5 year references as this is air cargo role. You will also need to provide proof of right to work in the UK.
