First Call Talent Solutions are looking to recruit a Warehouse Operative for our clients busy warehouse operations based in Northampton, NN5.
The company produce and supply a range of automotive products and are looking to add to their team, this is an exciting time to be joining our clients team with expansions planned moving into 2025.
This role is being recruited for on a permanent basis.
This role would suit a Warehouse Operative looking for a new challenge, or an experienced Warehouse Operative with an experience of Stock Control and Order Picking and Inventory operations.
Candidate duties will include:
- To manage all stock levels and inventory lists within the warehouse department
- Ensure a high level of communication between colleagues and management is maintained and information flow is of the highest standard, ensuring stock levels are correct at all times
- To assist in the efficient running of the warehouse and stock operations
- To ensure all stock is ready for despatch to company and customer sites
- General order picking and packing duties
- Moving stock from site to a storage site, driving a small van
Candidate experience will include:
- Have ideally worked within a warehouse operations department
- Ability to prioritise multiple tasks
- Have an understanding of warehouse systems and processes
- Excellent communication skills
- Have a good understanding or warehouse operations including order picking and packing
- Be able to drive a van
Candidates must hold a full UK Driving Licence, due to moving stock from 1 site to another, locally, less than 2 miles.
Starting salary: £25.5kpa + excellent company benefits.
Hours of work: Monday to Friday, 8.00am to 5.30pm.
