    The results are in…

It was the match everyone was talking about; First Call Contract Services Vs Delta Group 2013.

Last Friday, whilst Wilshere, Lampard and Rooney were taking to the field at Wembley, our team of First Call Contract Services stars were doing the same at The Stadium. Not THAT stadium, THE stadium; home of Cheshunt Football Club.

Every team has an off day and the similarities didn’t end there. Not only did we play the same night as England Vs Chile… we came away with the same result too.

Delta Group took the victory after a very well fought and entertaining performance was displayed by both teams.

Whether we won or lost (ok we lost), either way, the aim of the evening was the same: To raise awareness and as much money as possible for the Teenage Cancer Trust… And on that front, we were definitely winners.

Our combined efforts secured a total donation of over £1600 in just one evening. A tremendous effort by everyone involved and we’re extremely grateful for people coming out and supporting this great cause.

We also have a few special thank you’s for those who made the evening the fantastic success it was…

Adam Hendricks who organised the event and did us proud in goal.

Kevin Reid and the Delta team for the programmes and a great match.

Dave Segust for the kits, equipment, warm up and his management.

All those who managed the raffle and collected a great amount of money on the night.

All our valuable match night sponsors that have been listed in the programme and on our web site here

Wayne Segust who refereed the game excellently (baring couple of bad penalty decisions… Only kidding! Without Wayne it would not have been possible to play).

Lastly….Our Team – especially the ones that travelled and the ones who made it to the end!!!

If you didn’t make it to the match, don’t worry, a) There is still time to donate through our Just Giving page here. And b) There WILL be a rematch!
